Happy Independence Day!
I am probably way behind on my thematic holiday jewelry designs because I’ve been working on creating more variations for you all (Scroll down to see those).
Since the introduction of IGTV I’ve been whipping up some short videos on my jewelry making process and making short slideshows featuring the gemstones I use in my sets and stacks. Please, if you have a chance just leave me a comment or send me a message so I know what kind of content you would like to see.
You can watch the videos I have made so far right here.

As usual, thank you all for support on social media and at FAT Village Art Walk. Here are a few of my pieces I sold during June’s ArtWalk. If this is your first time hearing about the event you can read more here.
The GOOD Stuff
My latest designs follow the rose gold and marble trend. It look me a while to hop on that trend because I had to put in some time to find durable materials.
The Rose Gold beads, are actually rose gold plated hematite. Why hematite? Personally, I do not like when my jewelry tarnishes so avoid rose gold plated metals. Instead, I try to use all stones or sterling silver since they are more affordable and can be worn by people who have sensitivities to certain metals. Therefore, when I am making jewelry for customers I keep those things in mind.
The ‘Marble’ beads, aren’t marble, but Howlite which is similar in look.
What’s the difference between marble and howlite? Howlite is more porous.
Howlite will aid in sleeping, calming the overactive mind, eases insomnia, dreaming, dream retention and stress relief. Physically, it calms the whole body and releases muscle tension. It eliminates pain brought about by stress.
Moonstone is a stone of inner growth and strength. The meaning of moonstone is in its energy – a very nourishing, sensual, deeply feminine energy that knows how to heal and bring you back to wholeness. It is the stone of the mother moon, deep healing waters, and sacred feminine energies. Moonstone is also used as a protection stone for those traveling at night or over water.
Rose Quartz is known as the ‘love stone‘ as the message it emits is the strong vibration of unconditional love, joy, warmth and healing.
Hematite grounds and protects us. It strengthens our connection with the earth, making us feel safe and secure.
